Classroom Spinner, Teacher Wheel Hub
The Classroom Spinner is a teacher hub with three tabs built from the site's own standalone tools: Student picker (the same Random Student Picker, remove-after-pick on by default), Teams (the same Team Generator, unbiased shuffle dealt round-robin), and a Timer tab with a 0 to 59 minute and second countdown that genuinely pauses and resumes, it no longer restarts from the top when you press Start again after Pause. One Fullscreen classroom toggle covers all three tabs for a projector, and the countdown keeps running in the background even while you are on a different tab.

Running a timer while you take attendance on another tab
Start the countdown on the Timer tab, then switch to Student picker or Teams to get the next activity ready. The countdown keeps running in the background and shows the correct remaining time the moment you switch back.
The Student picker and Teams tabs are the exact standalone tools
This hub embeds the same Random Student Picker and Team Generator Wheel used on their own pages, not a simplified copy. Every verified behavior from those tools carries over directly: remove-after-pick stops once exactly two names remain, bulk-pasted rosters add to the existing list rather than replacing it (paste up to 400 lines, names trimmed to 20 characters), and team splits divide a roster of n people into k teams so n mod k teams get one extra person and the rest split evenly, for example 7 people into 3 teams gives 3, 2 and 2.
Pause now genuinely resumes instead of restarting
Pressing Pause freezes the display at the exact remaining time. Pressing Start timer afterward continues the countdown from that paused value rather than resetting to the configured minutes and seconds, confirmed by running a 3 minute countdown down to 2:57, pausing, waiting, and resuming: the display read 2:57 immediately after pressing Start timer again, then kept counting down normally. The timer only resets to the full configured duration when you press Reset, or the first time you press Start timer on a fresh countdown.
The countdown keeps running if you switch tabs
Starting the Timer and then switching to Student picker or Teams does not pause or stop it. Tested directly: starting a countdown, switching to Student picker for about 2.5 seconds, then switching back to Timer showed the display had kept counting down the whole time, within normal rounding. Use this to set a timer running and get the next activity ready on another tab without losing time.
One Fullscreen toggle covers whichever tab is active
Fullscreen classroom is a single control in the top card, shared across all three tabs rather than a separate toggle per tab. Pressing it while on the Timer tab shows a large countdown with the site header, navigation and footer covered; switching to Student picker or Teams while still fullscreen keeps that same covered layout for the newly active tab.

How to Use the Classroom Spinner
- Choose a tab: Student picker for calling on individuals, Teams for splitting the class into groups, or Timer for a countdown, all three share one roster-free interface, so set each one up independently.
- On Student picker, paste the roster and leave Remove after pick on (the default) so a called student drops off the wheel until only two remain; turn it off if repeat picks are fine.
- On Teams, paste the roster and set the number of teams, then press Generate teams for an unbiased, round-robin split where team sizes differ by at most one person.
- On Timer, set minutes and seconds with the sliders (0 to 59 each, disabled while the timer is running), then press Start timer.
- Press Pause at any point and the remaining time holds exactly where it stopped. Pressing Start timer again resumes the countdown from that paused time, it does not restart from the full duration.
- Press Fullscreen classroom to cover the site header, navigation and footer with just the active tab's controls, for any of the three tabs, and Exit fullscreen to return.
